Love Dumfries is about everyone getting involved so our town can survive and thrive. The aim is to encourage our community to rediscover Dumfries and all it has to offer, and to support local, especially during such uncertain times.
We encourage you to take part in one of our upcoming ZOOM webinars where we’ll show you how you can do more with your listing and make it work for you, with easy, step-by-step instructions on how to update your information on Love Dumfries.

The Love Dumfries digital directory has been created by Dumfries Partnership Action Group, and developed in just 30 days as the flagship project of our Love Dumfries campaign, supported by funding from Scottish Towns Partnership. It will continue to evolve as more businesses sign up and are listed on the site.

The website is divided into a number of sections:

EAT: Listing where to eat in the town, both sit in and take away.
SHOP: This section not only includes shops in the town centre but business support services (e.g. financial, IT, office and wholesale), as well as crafters and makers.
STAY: In this section you will find details of accommodation providers.
DO: Here are details of things to see and do in Dumfries, from museums and attractions to theatre, cinema, gyms, live entertainment and festivals. To have a forthcoming event listed, email all the details to: lee.medd@dgchamber.co.uk

The business listings allow people to find out about your business, check opening hours and access your social media feeds. They can also email and call you straight from the site through our touch links.

The details used for the initial set up have been taken from your website/social media feed: if anything has changed, email us with details and we’ll update your listing.
We can also promote special offers through the site, so send us details (including start and end date and T&Cs if appropriate).

We’re proud to launch Love Dumfries with 300 listings on the digital directory – and with your help we will have the whole of Dumfries included. Please share news about the site with your customers and other businesses.
