One of Dumfries’s former coaching inns which is situated facing the River Nith in the centre of the town. It was named The New Bazaar to distinguish it from the original Bazaar which was a haberdasher’s shop on the Whitesands. It has a pleasant airy bar with an impressive Victorian gantry and a cosy lounge with a warming coal fire in winter. A small room is available for meetings.
The pub is a favourite with football supporters attending the nearby Palmerston Park. It is ideally situated for car parking, local buses and tourist attractions.
